Take a Peek at the upcoming George Benson Breezin’ Lounge!

Bensonpreview We had the distinct pleasure of filming the great jazz guitar legend, George Benson for his upcoming Breezin’ Lounge project for WorkshopLive where you’ll learn how to recreate his signature sound. We're working hard to map all of his notes into our animated fretboard (not easy) and are re-creating the look of a great American jazz club online. Our very own master instructor and jazz virtuoso Jody Fisher plays host to these amazing lessons. This club launches later this month but you can see a very special preview of the video portion here. Enjoy!

SatchmartoneWorkshopLive’s video production team just returned from San Francisco where they recorded some amazing lessons with the one and only Joe Satriani. Teaching alongside WorkshopLive’s own Dave Martone, Satch will show you some amazing techniques. You’ll hear all about the wang bar, tapping, pentatonic scales, live effects and sit in on four in-depth interviews where Joe digs deep into his past, his songwriting, touring and oh yeah, Borg sex. It’s wild, it’s fun and it’s all Satriani. Stay tuned to Tuned In for updates.

WorkshopLive’s New Logo and Home Page

WllogoWorkshopLive is celebrating spring by giving our home page a facelift, and rolling out a brand new logo for the company.

Design guru Marc Weiner put the finishing touches on the new logo late last month, which is now being used company-wide. “The new logo design is intended to convey what we do best—provide top-notch lessons on a variety of popular instruments,” Weiner said.

Changes to WorkshopLive’s home page have largely been driven by subscriber requests and comments and are an ongoing process, according to Weiner, who has been a key player in implementing the site’s new skin.
