WorkshopLive’s video production team just returned from San Francisco where they recorded some amazing lessons with the one and only Joe Satriani. Teaching alongside WorkshopLive’s own Dave Martone, Satch will show you some amazing techniques. From whammy bar tricks to effects pedal tips and tapping licks, you’ll be able to learn the techniques that have made Joe Satriani a virtuoso.
These exclusive lessons from the Satch Zone totally rock. Shot in stunning high definition video, Joe and Dave break down some of Satch’s most intricate techniques. You’ll hear all about the wang bar, tapping, pentatonic scales, live effects and sit in on four in-depth interviews where Joe digs deep into his past, his songwriting, touring and oh yeah, Borg sex. It’s wild, it’s fun and it’s all Satriani. Stay tuned to Tuned In for updates.
WorkshopLive is celebrating spring by giving our home page a facelift, and rolling out a brand new logo for the company.
Design guru Marc Weiner put the finishing touches on the new logo late last month, which is now being used company-wide. “The new logo design is intended to convey what we do best—provide top-notch lessons on a variety of popular instruments,” Weiner said.
Changes to WorkshopLive’s home page have largely been driven by subscriber requests and comments and are an ongoing process, according to Weiner, who has been a key player in implementing the site’s new skin.
