WorkshopLive’s New Logo and Home Page
WorkshopLive is celebrating spring by giving our home page a facelift, and rolling out a brand new logo for the company.
Design guru Marc Weiner put the finishing touches on the new logo late last month, which is now being used company-wide. “The new logo design is intended to convey what we do best—provide top-notch lessons on a variety of popular instruments,” Weiner said.
Changes to WorkshopLive’s home page have largely been driven by subscriber requests and comments and are an ongoing process, according to Weiner, who has been a key player in implementing the site’s new skin.
A simplified interface, new design elements and the addition of video thumbnails are all aimed at making the subscriber’s experience more enjoyable, according to WorkshopLive sources. Access to all the same links as the old home page are still there, and links to several new locations have been added for customer convenience. According to webmaster Weiner, this new look is a pre-cursor to a major new roll-out. “Expect to see a completely redesigned site powered by suggestions from our subscribers,” he said.
The philosophy behind the new look is to invoke more of a musical feeling—something more relaxed and similar to the atmosphere of a jam session. “These changes give a clearer image of what we do as a company,” added Weiner. The new home page now features video clips and a redesign that’s easier to navigate. If you haven’t visited us for a while, come check out the new look!
