From the family of Bill Graham Productions on Wolfgang's Vault blog:
So who cares what I think? Maybe you do, maybe not, but I am compelled to share my list with you after nearly getting knocked over arguing about it with my fellow Vault inhabitants. In order of performance date (I love them all):
The Rolling Stones / Get Yer Ya-Yas Out (1970).
The Who / Live at Leeds (1970).
Jimi Hendrix - Band of Gypsys (1970).
Allman Brothers Band / Live at Fillmore East (1971).
Live Johnny Winter And (1971).
Led Zeppelin / How the West was Won (1972).
Grateful Dead / Europe 72 (1972).
Lou Reed / Rock N Roll Animal (1973).
The Band / The Last Waltz (1976).
Neil Young / Rust Never Sleeps (1979).
Am I still living in the 70s? Yeah – because THE MUSIC WAS BETTER, and still is today.

Wow, I can't argue with these guys, but then again it's all the music I love being listed. Anyone for Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Blues Traveler or someone else under the age of 50?
Sorry, I'm going in the other direction - "Benny Goodman live at Carnegie Hall" (1938) should be on that list, as well as Miles Davis' "Live/Evil". And subsitute "Live/Dead" for "Europe '72".
