Have you ever wondered what happens when you give us feedback about the lessons? WorkshopLive values our subscribers, and we’re not happy unless you are. When a subscriber makes a request, it’s our top priority to fix and update the lesson so it’s available to you as soon as possible. We want you to know that if there’s a problem, we’ll take care of it for you, so you can get back to enjoying the lessons! In fact, we’ve updated several lessons over the last few weeks, including some great blues lessons taught by Jonathan Barker and Mark Dziuba. They are now updated in terms of graphics and are fully interactive, so you get the most out of each.
Here’s a list of the updates:
Mark Dziuba: Minor-Key Shuffle
Mark Dziuba: 6th-String Root 6th Chords
Mark Dziuba: Three-String 6th and 9th Chords
Jonathan Barker: Mixing Arpeggio Fingerings in the Key of A (Dom 7)
Jonathan Barker: E7 Arpeggio 4th (or 6th) String
Jonathan Barker: D Mixolydian
Jonathan Barker: Eight-Bar Blues
Jonathan Barker: E Aeolian
In addition to our updates, we’ve added some new an exciting jazz song lessons, taught by the great Tom Dempsey. His knowledge of the repertoire really shines in his lessons. There are nine new lessons available, with three lessons to a song covering melody, chords, and chord/melody arrangements. If you’ve been wanting to get into some standards, this is a great place to start. Dempsey’s new lessons include Gershwin’s “They Can’t Take That Away From Me,” Cole Porter’s “All of You,” and Vernon Duke’s “I Can’t Get Started.”
