Nobody is more pleased with the new Satch lessons than Joe himself. He spoke about the lessons from The Plant, saying, “This is a great new way for artists to reach out to their fans. I’ll be giving lessons but also sharing with fans how I write my songs, what’s important to me—content they won’t have access to anywhere else.”
Joe, who has released video lessons in the past, obviously hasn’t done anything as in-depth, or as fun, as this. Neither have we. “The thing about Joe,” says David Smolover, WorkshopLive CEO, “is that in the studio, he … comes alive.”
What’s Different?
We’ve filmed the lessons in incredible high-definition video, from several camera angles, so the best possible view is available at all times. The lesson interface is the same as WorkshopLive’s, meaning detailed graphics such as Joe’s pedalboard are available for viewing, allowing you to see details of his cable connections, or easily view which pedal he’s pressing at any given time. As always, the music notation is there in the window as well, often animated in WorkshopLive’s cutting-edge interactive music player.
Not only does Joe offer tips and insights on his personal style and compositions, the SatchZone has behind-the-scenes footage that brings you deeper into the realm of a gifted guitar player.
Its great to see that people are sharing quite profitable information with each other and now we can move our selves to a new era.
